This video captures the groundbreaking ceremony at The Foundry at 41st Apartments with Mayor Bill Peduto sharing a few words about the project.
We have had an exciting design process with our clients Fort Willow Developers and Walnut Capital. One highlight has been the integration of an industrial bay frame aligned with 41st Street. Just prior to the event, the construction team at PJ Dick used demolition “surgery” to uncover and reveal a massive structural steel frame that was wedged between adjacent mill buildings. Referred to as “Bay 4”, the space played perfect host to this well-attended ceremony and gave us a snap shot to the role this space will play in future neighborhood events.
